Start free, sign in with Google, set up your own firm
Any small firm can now get started on its own:
Sign up with your email or your Google account, set up two-factor sign-in, then add your firm's details, website and practice areas.
Invite your team as you set up, or later from Team. People joining by invitation can also use Google.
New pricing: Essentials is free, Growing Practice is $249 a month for the firm, and Large Firms is $800 a month.

Meruit 1.0 for design partners
The first version of Meruit is open to our design-partner firms, starting with personal injury. It includes five features:
- Intake & conflict check: Record new enquiries, check conflicts across the firm and get a suggested limitation date.
- Matters: One workspace per case: parties, stage, key dates, notes, documents and history.
- Deadlines: Every deadline in the firm in one list, with limitation dates a lawyer confirms.
- Medical records & chronology: Upload records; approve AI-suggested chronology entries tied to the page they came from.
- Demand letters: Your template, filled with the case facts, approved and locked by a lawyer.
Required two-factor sign-in for everyone, an audit log that can't be edited, and restricted matters (ethical walls).
Scanned, image-only pages need text recognition, which is coming next.
